Help customers design and move demanding infrastructure workloads onto Modal. The role covers cloud architecture, networking, storage, containers and sandbox environments, combining systems engineering with direct customer collaboration. Engineers lead technical discovery, build proofs of concept and feed practical requirements back into Modal’s platform development.
Experience highlighted by the employer
- At least three years of professional software engineering experience and hands-on work with cloud infrastructure.
- Understand containers, orchestration and distributed systems, and communicate infrastructure tradeoffs to engineering leaders.
Location & eligibility
