# Staff Software Engineer, ML Infra & Distributed Systems

THE OPPORTUNITY

## A role wortha closer look.

Build the low-latency model-serving infrastructure behind recommendations, search and content understanding. Work on reusable distributed services and infrastructure such as inference engines and feature stores. Partner with ML and product teams, improve operational efficiency and mentor engineers while shaping the platform’s longer-term architecture.

### Experience highlighted by the employer

- Experience building scalable backend systems, online services and cloud infrastructure; Scala or JVM experience is a plus.
- Experience with databases, messaging, container platforms and leading responses to major production incidents.

### Location & eligibility
